Hello -- I have a beautiful black australorp I need to find a new home for. I'm in Westchester County, NY. My small flock was attacked by a racoon last night and she's the only one who made it. She needs a new flock. I am heartbroken, utterly.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I'm in central Connecticut and may be able to take her. I'm getting four pullets in a few weeks. If you think she'll adapt to young flock, let me know.

So sorry for your loss...I can’t imagine how devastating it was :(

If you’re still looking to rehome, I’m near Middletown, orange county, and have room for one more chicken. I was going to wait until my friend hatched some EE next year to fill the spot, but will be more than happy to give a home to your hen if she needs one. I will also be happy to hold on to her until you are ready to try raising chickens again if you prefer that option.

My older girls are currently 15 weeks old, so they will be a bit smaller...
