I am looking for a pet home for one of my buff orp roosters, Buddy. He is a gentle golden giant. He is a beautiful rooster and I'd like to retire him to a forever home. He was hatched here on 3/21/07. He doesn't like to be held, but will greet you for treats. He likes to monitor his girls and is very timid and well mannered. He is currently the subordinate rooster in the flock. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Serious inquiries only. He is too big to ship and I would prefer pickup to keep stress at a minimum. I am located in Slatington PA if you'd like to mapquest for distance. Thanks for looking.

P.S. I am replacing him with a new bloodline, so this is very hard for me as he is the son of my late Roobie Roo.

Thanks hcammack! He is such a good boy, I hate to let him go. But I also know it is necessary to bring diversity into my bloodline.

If anyone is looking for a great rooster..this is the guy. I will also offer a hen or two for sale with him if that helps get him to a good home.

OMG! He's beautiful!!!

I'm on the "slower lower Maryland" part of the Delmarva Peninsula...would you be willing to meet halfway?

I'm looking to start a flock, so I'd be interested in some hens too...what'cha got?

And...how soon do you want to rehome him? It's kinda crazy busy with the holidays and all, but I think he's definitely worth a drive!

Have a terrific Thanksgiving!

Sending you a PM BethESH. Thanks for your inquiry.

if I hadn't picked up a roo at an auction, I would love to take him.
but with only 11 girls - i only need one.

would have loved him tho, as they are beautiful

Hey there! Do have any hens or just Buddy? If you do or can I would love to add Orpingtons to my flock and your birds are so purty! I will take a trio or a quad if you have it--I was going to wait until Spring--but if you have them let me know...

Yes, I can do a trio. The hens would be $20 each..Buddy is free for taking him with them. The hens were hatched 10/29/07.
