He's 24 wks old and has soft, beautiful feathering. We'd keep him if we didn't already have an adult rooster. It's hard to get a good picture of him because he's very active, but I'll keep trying.

He was raised by one of our broodies, which is why we bought chicks from the feed store. All of them were supposed to be pullets but turns out there was 1 roo in the mix of 6. This will teach us never to buy chicks from the feed store again.

I like him! He is very pretty! But people would complain if we had a rooster.
Thanks for replying. Yeah, that's the reason why we have to rehome him. Our neighbors have been understanding about our 1 adult roo, but now this little one has started a duet.

Sorry, if I ever get to live on a farm, I will end up adopting every rooster on backyard chickens. But that won't happen for a while. Or maybe ever.. 😝 I hope you find a home for him though!

He's gorgeous, did you find a home for him?

Unfortunately not. It's breaking our hearts with the alternative staring us in the face. He's not aggressive with humans at all. He is a bit skittish, though, but less so when he gets used to you.
