Need to rehome Hens and Roosters Whidbey Island WA

I am needing to cut down on my flock..I have several hens and roosters that need loving homes...

Well I have never shipped chickens before...I am not sure exactly on how to go about it...it would probably cost a lot of money to.. have you had experience in shipping them?

The individual wanting the birds would need to order USPS approved shipping boxes - Horizon or something similar. Cost runs about $15 for small boxes, $25-30 for large. Then that person would have to pay Express shipping fees to ship them. Cost would depend on weight of birds and distance travelled. I've had some as cheap as $90 going to the next state to as much as $260 cross country.

What kind of chickens do you have and how many? I can't take the roosters but maybe I can take the chickens. I live in rural Pierce county.

I have mostly mix breeds,not sure on how many exactly but close to 20 hens..
