Need to rehome rooster in Los Angeles, Ca

I am new to this whole chicken world and I received three chickens through my kids’ science class and I have a rooster. Unfortunately I cannot keep him. The law is he has to be at least 100 feet from a residence. Can anybody help me? I don’t know his exact breed either and he is about 12 weeks old

He's a cuckoo marans, with those feathered legs. And I wouldn't get a crow collar if its against the law to have a cockerel/rooster. I wouldn't risk the fines.

Good point, I wouldn’t have to worry about it since I live in the country, but it’s just a suggestion

Yea I don’t want to get attached to him and then later have to get rid of him due to that

Impregnate ? Hens lay eggs, having a rooster will make your eggs fertile, they are still edible, no difference what so ever. Unless you’re vegan
