min little giant has an electronic thermostat. had wild swings from 98-109 and still had 3 out 15 viable hatch (no fan so probably in cool spots).

I found putting mine in my oven kept the temps stable because of the way the oven is insulated. I have a lyon bator now but if I try the little giant again I'll try putting it in one of those coolers that guarantee it will keep ice for 5 days.

you can buy a replacement thermostat online for about $27 I think it was (cutler had it I think).

Maybe the lack of Spike w/my LG is a benefit to dry hatching since I use no water there isn't anything to change the condition- what state are you in ?
My friend in TN also has good luck with Dry hatching it sometimes doesn't work I have read in certain areas but if your losing eggs and have non-shipped meaning low investment you might want to try it with a couple ..
