Need Tool Suggestion for Splitting Birds

Those cheap band saws will rust out and/ or the motors will since they are not waterproofed or Stainless Steel after just one or two uses. Just by cleaning and disinfecting them with disinfectants and water will start the self distruction process. They become costly indeed in short order.

Ya your right they are ment for wood. When I used my friends, I bought a stainless steel blade so I wouldn' have to worry about rust getting into the meat. It worked... but as far as how long they will work for with out screwing up.... I don't know? It's probably like anything else, the price usually reflects the quality.
