Need Votes On Jacksonville Swap

This Sunday Oct.25 at Bent Creek Feed Store in Jacksonville a chicken swap was held under bright sunny skies with a cool breeze blowing. I'm happy to report there was a good turn out of buyers.....but only two chicken sellers came. One of them reported they sold out except for one JG roo that was supposed to be picked up by someone. The weather was great, Bent Creek feed store sold a good bit. I kept seeing them carrying out bags of feed. Several people brought bunnies and sold most of them.

I'd like to ask for a vote from breeders in the area who have/will support this monthly show so we will know whether to continue it:

1. Would you be able to come and bring stock to sell on Sunday Nov.29?

2. Would you be able to come on Saturday (Nov.28)instead, if Sunday is
not possible for you?

3. Would you prefer to wait until spring to resume this swap?

I will come on Nov 29th. I won't have any birds but will bring cages.

I'll definately come next month, doesn't matter if its Saturday or Sunday.
Probably won't have a lot to sell but a bunch of chicks but we'll have to see.

Had a great time today Sandi!! I got rid of everything and probably could
have sold double the amount of chicks if I had had them. After I sold out, a few
people took my number since I have a batch hatching next weekend

Looking forward to Novembers Swap!!

We just missed this. We just happened upon it on Saturday, but didn't get home from church in time. If we are in town, we would love to make it to another one.

We don't breed though, we just have a few as pets.

It's at Bent Creek Feed Store on 103rd just before Chaffee from 9-1 ish. Weather is pleasant, lots of people are out and about, it should be well attended by buyers.
