Needed- Advice *Update & New Pics*

I have some new pics! Pebbles is 20 days old today!

Time flies.... Anyways, her bald spot isn't red and irritated looking any more and fuzz is growing so there is only a tiny patch of bald now

She is also starting to get feathers in. They look buff like Wilma and she also has stripes on her eyes when you look closely. I can hardly wait to see what she feathers out to look like. I have a question though: When do ducklings get there oil glands and are they visable? A week or so ago she got something wierd on her back that was yellow and fuzzy? It is still there... When I felt it, it was oily so I am guessing it is just her oil gland but i have never noticed it on my other ducklings before..? I got a few pictures of it so I can post one to see what you BYCers think

She is growing so fast I can hardly believe it! I know they grow up fast but I forgot how fast! I know the only way to see if she is a girl or boy is to vent sex them at this point but I wouldn't want to hurt her so I guess i'll just have to wait and see

"She" does seem to have a raspy peep and i'm hoping that doesn't mean she's a "he".. but then again I am probably just paranoid

Well i'd love to see what you guys think about the thing on her back!

The thing on her back is the oil gland. =] It's what they use to oil their feathers.

Is she pure buff or buff cross? I have multiple buff crosses. I loves them. I have 4/7 buff crosses right now. All are about a week old. I lovers them

Thanks for the replies... I was pretty certain that it was the oil gland but I just wanted to double check

She is 1/2 buff and 1/2 runner

I call her my gosling because she has such a "roman" bill

She had the teeniest cutest bill and them BAM! it is huge now
