Needed batik fat quaters

I need 20 different batik fat quaters for a turning 20 quilt. I would like a variety of blues, greens, reds, oranges, maybe just some fall colors. I will pay. But I am out of work and cant spend a lot of money. Can I get some sugestions. Thanks, minnie

Dana, I don't have a single batik anything or I'd send you some. Try www.thousandsofbolts.com Her fabrics are very reasonably priced, cheaper than at my local WalMart fabric shop. Maybe you can find some there.


ETA: just checked her site for batiks in several colors. They are higher priced than other types that she has, about $4.75-5.95/yard. Actually, if I recall, batiks are usually more expensive. If you make something with them, please post pictures!

If there is a Joann's near you, they have been having sales on fat quarters .99 cents. I think the normal price is 1.29 Sometimes they have some really nice batiks too. I recently bought some nice dark greens with blackish tones in them from there to use as sea turtles for a Hawiian/floral type quilt project.
