So, I hatched out three chicks and wing sexed them only to find out by a friend you cannot sex mix bred chicks... One of them is a mix of White Leghorn and Columbian Wyandotte and he is almost 2 months old and most 100% a rooster. (His name is DonutThen I have a mix of Light Brahma and Columbian Wyandotte (name is Frost) and this one is just recently got a comb and wattles and is pretty much the same age as Donut. Frost is also small, like my for sure pullet Ayam Cemani mix.

Is frost a rooster?

I really cannot keep both if they are roosters and I am hoping Frost is a hen because I dont want to choose which to keep. I'm going to be giving someone one of my older roosters and Donut is replacing them. Would three roosters with 20 hens work, could I keep a rooster with my 5 female ducks and male duck if Frost is a rooster? The duck pen is going to be right next to the chicken pen so that my ducks go into the same coop. Please let me know on what you think!!!

This is currently the best photo of him I can get.

Yes, that appears to be a cockerel. I do not know whether keeping three roosters in with twenty hens would work; it depends on your setup and their temperament. It has worked for me in the past.

They will have a pretty large fence space. The fecne space could hold at least 60 birds even though we dont want 60 birds.
