New eggs arrived yesterday let them sit for slightly over 12 hours as unsure how long they were at my front door when I got home. But incubator I had previously broke a few days ago and my friend was kind enough to buy me a cheap one until I’m next paid on the 3rd. States it has automatic humidity and I’ve lost the manual to check what the settings mean which have LS, RH, CR, HS, RL on it and don’t know what numbers they should be at. Picture is the incubator I have.

Here is a good reference for you. Humidity is important! These temperature numbers are in F° but I'm sure you've got a conversion app

You need to get a humidity gauge and put it inside the incubator. Idk what all those letters mean eit

I did have the manual but can’t find it. The humidity gauge would be a best bet but don’t get paid until the 3rd but luckily I’m getting a £5 refund in next couple days possibly tomorrow so can order one then.

I think you're going to have to play with the incubator for a bit or email to seller and ask them to email a copy of the manual. Using Google I found that on some incubators LS means lowest temperature setting. HS means highest temperature setting. I suspect RH means relative humidity, maybe? CR might have some to do with the turner or candler? I think your best bet is to contact the seller of the incubator. What breed of eggs are you incubating? I love hatching so I'm very excited for you!

The eggs are in the incubator so don’t want to mess around any more than I have lol

Not sure what breed been told they’re mixed could be Cayuga mix. Have asked the person I ordered them from what the mixes could be. Have one blue egg.

It'd be in your best interest to keep a calibrated thermometer and hydrometer inside the incubator during the process. Ideally, you'd want the incubator powered on for 12 to 24 hours with the alternate thermometer inside to make sure the unit is working properly. I'd hate for your eggs to be ruined, but I understand your dilemma

Yeah RH is that. The highest that goes is up to 15.0 so brought it back down again as not sure what that means.

Yeah I’ll be getting one in the next couple days. Come payday I’ll be getting a decent incubator so be easier to keep track of the process and don’t have to fiddle about except to mist them daily and to pour the water in every couple days. Eggs will turn automatically and the humidity will show on the screen so I know the number it’s at. Hoping this batch goes well.
