My husband built, as a labor of love, for me a beautiful little coop last fall. it is 4x8 feet. He made nest boxes on the back t hat you can open from the outside. Two windows on the front that he even helped my put flower boxes on. And there is a pen on the back. The whole thing is built to be moveable- a chicken tractor the books call it. Our only problem is that it is not very moveable.
The tires go flat. He bought thetires at the Harbor Freight, the tow front ones swivel and the back are straight. Supposed to be rated to carry the weight. No way! The first time we moved it- flat tires. Then yesterday he patched the tires, added new ones to the non-repariable. What are we doing wrong? What size tires and type of wheels are the rest of you using so you can "tractor" your coops around?
