Needing Feeding Advice

I use Kalmbach Henhouse Reserve along with layer pellets mixed together. I also provide Oyster shell on the side. I don't believe it's the feed. You said that your hens aren't interested in the oyster shells. Try mixing some of the Oyster shell with the feed to get them to eat some of it. Then maybe they will start eating it from the provision on the side. Not enough Calcium is what it sounds like to me.

I don't think you meant to quote me but if there's a calcium issue, layer feed should be fed for a bit. Sometimes they don't make good choices.
