Nice pictures, they look like chickens now. Is the last photo of the group eyeliner chick? It's interesting to really see how they grow. Are they in their coop now? It looks like they are free ranging at least part of the time.

Also, you have some nice weather wherever you are. :^)

yes ty the last photo is eyeliner, they free range most of the day,they are protected by several bush lines and one of the dogs. one of our cats gangs out with them the other is not bird friendly. the younger chicks(barred rocks) are now in their old brooder and loving it.

I feel bad now, this weekend was very busy and I couldn't take any pictures. Now it's Thursday evening and we lost our first bird, some how it got into the area where the dogs are and she was hilled right outside the window where i was sitting, reading posts on BYC Forums. BUMMER, I happened to look out and one of the dogs had her body in his mouth, I didn't see the deed so I can't punish, there's three large dogs in there and I can't blame if I didn't see.
I buried her under a large pecan tree where i bury all our pets. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later, but it's still angering.
