Greetings, We are the Neiferts. Recently, we followed a strong spiritual nudge to sell our home in the city and purchase an old farm in Northern Michigan. We call our place Nineveh tied to the Bible story of Jonah, who was sent to help the people of Nineveh, a place he didn't want to go, but God saw more in Nineveh than he did. You may remember the story, after an encounter in the belly of a 'big fish,' Jonah followed God's direction and went to Nineveh as directed. We feel that God sent us here and that He sees more in our farm than we do. We trust Him, thus we are here and we are finding so much to love about our own adventures in Nineveh.
We are not new to parenting, we have 5 grown children and 10 grandchildren. Our newest parenting adventures involve 20 black austrolorp chicks. We are humble novices at this and our chicken raising friends and neighbors highly recommend the outstanding advice and wisdom from this site. We are so grateful to join you.
