Neighbor cat not sure what to make of pullets

He is the only cat in the neighborhood that we havent chased out of the yard in the past.
He's the only one that didnt use our yard as a litterbox.... but now it looks like we may have an issue with him.
of coarse he cant get to them, but he practices sneaking up on them and then supriseing them, to which he get a fairly,"oh you again" responce from the chickens.
They either stand there and look at him like "thats a weird looking chicken" or they just go about their business as usual.
I think its giveing Kahoona the cat a complex....

But all that said, I do see him as a possible threat.

Absolutely.....he is considered a pest. Given the chance....he will get those babies.Cats can fit into very small holes. If there is one, anywhere..he will let you know...and will be in there. Be carefull! He is a beautifull cat tho.
 
Lawn sprinklers work nicely- both for keepng cats from using your flowerbeds and running off predators- the word for "bad" in cat talk is the same as "wet feet"

I saw a motion detector controlled squirter for the garden in some catalog- Is that just wonderfully evil or what???
