Neighbor threatening to "take out my roosters"

Saw this on another thread and had to share it here

We need this sign, plus a nice big gate. We have a long (Private Property!) driveway, all gravel. Our house is behind a wooded area as well. No reason for anyone to drive down our way and yet we have multiple daily "visitors". We have put up a temporary cord with ribbon and that seems to deter our "guests". I had a friend helping me on our coop last week and he forgot to put the cord back up. Our driveway curves toward the house. If you continue straight you would have to drive over sod (with sprinkler system) then into our yard. Some idiot did exactly that!

The lady drove her giant black suburban down our gravel driveway, through the woods, over the sod (!!!!!) and into our yard. She drove within feet of my 1 year old who was standing next to the garden. I thought maybe she was coming to see the friend helping the coop. He asks "who is that?!" just as she turns around in our freakin' backyard. I ran as fast as I could to get the license plate number but since I did not get all of it the police could do nothing.

Our children were in the yard! Our private property...at a dead end...through woods!!! She drove around the side of our house over several acres, nearly plowing over a pecan tree, not to mention my babies!!!!!!!

I don't know what hubby is going to do once he returns but it better involve an iron gate and lots of signs. If someone is that crazy then I need a shotgun as well. My Pitbull just stood there watching. Some guard dog she is. :D

Last time I saw a pit vs suburban it wasn't a good outcome.

Ha. The least she could have done would be to bark or chase after me as I ran like a maniac to get the plate number. I guess she was just as stunned (or confused) as we were. It was slow motion and yet it happened so quickly. Very scary, though. My little ones play throughout the property and while I can see them I am not always near them. Only one way in or out and they don't go to the front. Pretty crazy a person would drive all the way around and keep on going when it's clear they are on private property.

My logical explanation was she was on drugs. :/

Sprinkles a gate with a large log chain and a pad lock ought to deter them some, also get an alarm for the drive. until then get the hubby to get a half pickup load of stone and dig a small trench with a board filled with nails with lots of rocks over it so strangers would flatten their tires on it. make sure it's 2-3 cars lengths up the drive and 1 and a half to 2 past the no trespassing sign if they don't like it tough you gave them enough space to turn around if they where lost.

Clever!

Part of my problem neighbor is handling itself...they are building a nice privacy fence haha! We figure with every section, our property value improves!!!! When I figure he is done, I will put a few chicken tractors in the areas void of fence to encourage more fence to be installed LOL!!!!

When I saw from the preview about aligning 20 against the fence I had the picture of 20 hens being lined bums in the neighbours direction with instructions to fart!!!!!!!!
