A lot of ducks love live or dried worms.

are you in the USA? If you are going to feed them please get a bag of duck pellets. Purina makes them and tractor supply has them. Actually, compared to what you are feeding them now any kind of "all flock" food will be better. You could put out a little dish of this and they'll know to go right to where it is.

Ducks love things going the same way every time. They hate change. I put a new pool in my duck area yesterday and it's still crystal clear because it's new and scary so it must be a bad thing!

They love vegetables! I chop them up really small and they just love them but no bread or lettuce. Neither has any nutritional value at all.

You are so great to feed them and I'm glad you do. Ducks are so awesome and fun to have around. They'll give you lots of good fertilizer too! Maybe right on your foot especially if you've got on flip-flops!

Don't know where you are but Pacific Black Duck's are only native to Oceania and other surrounding areas. If you are in the US an American Black Duck would be more likely.
