Neighbors chicken with sour crop.

Hi, my neighbor asked Star and I to help with their chicken. I don’t have a lot of information-she’s a mix, lives in a good sized coop, and eat pellets, free ranges sometimes, has access to grit and calcium, and lives with a rooster and other hens. We went over to look at her, and her crop is huge and when we massaged it, she burped and we could hear gurgling, so we’re pretty sure it’s sour crop. What could be the cause? What should we do to help them? Thanks! She started acting off on Monday.

As soon as I saw her, and you said she was a mix, to me at least, she looks like a faverolles/easter egger cross. This probably isn't true but that's what she reminds me of

We ended up suctioning out some liquid. I haven’t checked on her today, but she seemed to be doing pretty well yesterday.
