Neighbors dogs and cats

We moved our game cam tonight. We caught the dog and the guy on it (with the dog off the leash), but you couldn't tell by the pic whose property they were on. That is also good info about the paint, for some reason I thought that was only for official state use. Good to know. Thanks again!

If it comes to having to shoot one (wounded or dead) and the neighbors are aware of it (or you think they are) you will need to immediately call the sheriff, state that a human felt threatened, and have a deputy sent out with a nuisance animal complaint for you to fill out. There is no murkiness in the law when it comes to dogs vs. humans.

Hoping these bozos see the light, before they start receiving fines.

It is a bummer the guy is with his dog while it is on your property.

Only thing I can think of without getting law involved is to have a boundary survey done, and then put in T posts and wire to mark out your land.3 wires spaced just enough will for sure keep him out.

As for the dog well there are various ways to get rid of it.No need for me to list them.Whatever you do you want to be covert but legal. People have shot neighbors who have shot their dogs.Read about it on neighbors from hell forums/news.The guy does not work and would have all day to make your life hell.People actually do that for fun.

Fines might work, but not all counties are good about enforcing the law.Sad,because they could make a ton of cash just ticketing people for their pets!

I would plant some stinging nettle where the neighbor likes to walk. I would let someone else talk to the neighbors. This line of chitchat could turn into a NFH situation.

Oh as for the cats I just read of a peruvian cat feast festival. The native people where forced to eat their cats to survive when the white man invaded their country. Now it is like a rememberance festival.Ofcourse many asians eat the felines as well.Plenty of kitty recipes out there! JK!!!!!

Cat enclosures rock. I don't get why people don't like these for their cats. They fare way better in an enclosure than other animals.

Seeing your avatar pic this shocked me but also cracked me up. The allowing of the dogs to run free kills me, but the cats are a whole other story. Since they started building their kitchen 3+ years ago they have had their cats up here. They started with 2 and there are 4 or 5 now. All of them almost to the point of being feral. When they did not "live" there someone would come up at least once a week to put out a bag of food. That just bothers me. First off what's to say the cats are the ones eating the food? What if one gets injured? Propper shelter? The cats split when people are around. I catch them over here the most, usually at night. Fortuantly my free range birds during the summer prefer to roost on top of our dogs pens (the two who are outside) and the cats won't come close to their pens. But I have lost a few birds that I don't know who or what got them, always ones that are not roosting with the dogs. Now that it is getting colder I am worried about their choice of roosting and if the cats will be able to get in. I know two of my roos would fight one a bantam, and another a cochin but the cats are bigger than them. But the 4 Rhode Island Red roos are huge and I am sure out weigh the cats and may be able to take them, but they are kinda sissies.

I'm reasonably sure that the native population of the Americas did not have domestic cats. If they didn't have domestic cats, they would not have eaten their cats to survive when the white man invaded their territory. So, I suggest that you spend some time on Google to verify this story. Just because you read it on the internet does not guarantee that it is true.

Not to argue but the natives were from Peru. The Peruvian Cat Feast Festival is a real thing. http://www.environmentalgraffiti.co...t-made-into-burgers-at-peruvian-festival/1367

As far as the United States goes, in times of war all kinds of things were eaten. And who knows about today poverty is everywhere, right? Some people in this country are hungry enough to eat just about anything.
