We have always eating fertile eggs. They are collected ON THE SAME DAY & placed in the ice box asap. If left out in the heat, they will develope. Heat is the catalist.Nothing wrong with eating fertile eggs and it's unlikely you'll even notice that they're fertilized if you collect eggs regularly.

ok, looked like plastic, be aware that it probably is still flimsy and you may want to add something to stabilize it, like if they want to fly up and sit on itits pvc coated chicken wire
You will need this list.There are 2 roosters and a 5 hens maybe??? I think one of the roosters is a big rhode island red aswell
