Neighbors Roosters - Breed?

My neighbor has 2 roosters, wondering what breed they are in case they ever father some chicks for me.

I think you may be right, it is also very possible that it is a mixed breed. Where did your neighbors get it?

It was his mothers flock, and she is very elderly at this point - so he just kind of took over. He doesn't know anything about them. There are 2 roosters and a hen. He's constantly in my yard so I know he's going to be daddy to some chicks.

With due respect, it's not a Rhode Island Red rooster with all that black in it. It looks like a Partridge Plymouth Rock rooster.

Yup, I googled it & that looks exactly like them. They seem friendly enough - my hens are very interested in the one. But he is almost twice the size of my little Leghorn who seems to be the most interested so far.
