Neither blue nor lavender, what is this gene?

Random genetics do pop up and in the least likely of places. Case in point would be an attempt to get weight back on a line of Barred Plymouth Rocks by a breeder I know who used a Cobb 500 meat bird (commercial hybrid meat bird). In that F1 were blue barred. What are the chances of that!?! Odd random things can and will happen. Just sayin' it's possible the WCB Polish carried a Lav. no matter how unlikely.

There is a possibility, although the two kinds of chickens are far apart. I’m trying to continue to cross with white -faced Spainish. See if this color can continue to work like this.

That is not how it works, by crossing back to black you gain melanizers, you don't lose them.

Have you ever heard about blue breeders breeding back to black lines to regain some of the shade lost by crossing blue x blue?
Then how did my practically black blue male produce light blue daughters? I've heard about people doing that, but so far I gave only gotten light blues using a dark male over black
