Ok, tonight I am moving my chicks to the coop outside. I'm SO nervous!
I keep imagining coming out in the morning and finding them dead! I'm not really worried about heat, since it's nice and cozy in there, but terrified a raccoon will get to them. They are in an A-frame tractor that hopefully will keep predators away, but I don't know for sure... I have never had chickens, so I'm a newbie at moving chicks out. Any tips or advice to keep them extra safe, or anything like that?
I hope they make it!
Thanks!!!!
*UPDATE*
YAY! All of my babies made it through the night! I checked on them a couple of times, and everytime they were up and peeping and walking around. I think they partied all night long!
They probably didn't understand they were supposed to sleep. Anyway, I'm sso glad they made it!!!

I hope they make it!

Thanks!!!!
