nest and roost

hello, im still not finish with my coop and the chicks are ready to move in, what should the depth,width and length on the nest boxes be?! also if you could post pictures of the nest box and roost so i could get a idea?

My neighbor used some milk crates at first but found that the hens seem to like a community nest that is about 3' x 3'. He told me that whatever you bulld, they will end up liking something else better!

I have not gotten that far in my coop. I have a few months to figure that one out yet.
