Nest box access for my soon to lay 5 month old BOs.

I think my girls are almost ready to start laying. All they need is some more daylight I figure.

Should I open the nest boxes that are in their hen house before they start laying? Or will this invite a mess in the nests?

Ours were in from day one and nobody went near them until it was time to lay! Good luck!
