Nest box dividers

Good question.
My boxes are about 12” wide. They fight for the same box so often, I’ve often thought about removing some of the dividers to make them big enough to accommodate two together.

Should of said, we have 6 warrens.
Last night 5 slept in the nest box and 1 on the roost, so we want divide the box, I think ill just divide into 2 section's.

@sloanbychoice ive just read that so im gonna go mod the box some more, thanks for the tip!
ive just chopped a tree down in my garden so gonna go put some branches in the run and one in the coop as another roost bar too

Hate to say it, but I don't think adding separators will help that problem. Nest box excluders might be something to think about.

One fake egg in each nest should help 'spread the love'.

Why? That keeps them from wanting the same box??
They like to lay where another bird has already laid as it deem that place as 'safe'.
The fake egg give the illusion that another bird has laid there.
There can still be favorite nest of the day...or you can play 'magical eggs' and grab eggs as they are laid and put extra fakes all in one or two nests, taht sometimes works. Sometimes the favorite is by location.
