YES!!!! Thats it! I love this nestbox and saw the post a long time ago and always wanted to make it! Thanks so much for finding it. I can try and copy it from the picture. I even love the little ramp. I know chickens will love this style because they like the feeling of being secure when they lay or when they sit on eggs to hatch. I used curtains in my other boxes and that is ok but they get pretty dirty and trashed after a year or so. The port opening is perfect.
@aart do you know if Home Depot or Lowes sells the luan?
I just want to thank you for all the detailed articles and posts I have come across of yours. They have been so helpful to so many of us!

They might. It's used for floor under layment.
'Luan' is a brand name, I think.
