Nest box idea

My chickens sleep in the nest boxes and poop in them so it would be to clean out the poo and dirty shavings.

You're complicating a fairly simple problem...don't let them sleep in the nests.
Post pics of your nests and roosts.
Do you have younger and older birds?
Are your roosts long enough to hold all the birds you have?

The hens are still laying so not really old. I will try to get some pics.
