Nest Box Sharing

My 27 week old White Leghorn Snow White decided it was time to lay her egg and she wasn't going to let the fact that 23 week old Smokey was already in her favorite nest box deter her. She pushed her way up there, stood on Smokey and laid her egg! LOL!

When they are feeling communal, there is no right answer to the question, "how many hens can fit into laying box at one time?" I've seen up to four.
