Nest Boxes!

In my nest boxes my rooster loves to roost their and he has got the wood chips all dirty. I have fixed that problem but now i need new material.
All i have is paper shrewed is that ok to put on the boxes?

That would be fine. I personally, would just use it until you could get the regular stuff you use. I think it would be kinda messy long term.
