I have 22 chickens, how many nest boxes should I build? I'm debating between 6 or 8.

one for every 4 hens...
Jayne is right. 6-8 will be sufficient, as a few extra wont hurt. Theyll all end up crowding into a few regardless, but it is the thought that counts.
