Nest boxes

I have two black Australorp's that will not lay in the nest boxes. Eggs are often found in the run, but sometimes in the coop as well. I wanted to throw out some pictures of naughty nest boxes to see if they are sufficient. The boxes are about 1 ft square.

Sometimes they like more darkness/ hiding spots maybe try hanging some kind of curtains.
