Nesting box and doorway sizes???

I have 5 new chicks and starting construction on my coop this week. I have 2 Speckled Sussex and 3 Buff Orpingtons. Any suggestions on dimesions for the doorway leading from the roost to the attached run and the nest boxes? I know especially the Buff Orpingtons are a fairly large bird, and don't want to make them too small. Thanks for any advice in advance!

my other half says 16 inches wide for the doorway and the inside of the nesting box should be 12 in wide. Good Luck!

My door is 12" wide and 18" high. My buff is one of the smaller hens and she has no problems. The nest boxes are 12x12" and she sits in there just fine.
