Even though it isn't 100%, I like to think we will keep our partridge cochin cockerel. He's 13 weeks old and has hardly made a peep, maybe because him and his 2 girls are still newbies in the flock. I hope my neighbors don't mind any crowing but I want to make sure he won't crow at a ridiculous time. Has anyone used a nesting box for a rooster? Has it been effective?
