Nesting box death

My wifes golden laces banty rooster was not crowing today he was in the nesting box dead looks as if the girls had sufficated him. Not sure why he always liked the back of the nesting boxes.

He was so cool.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I worry about my favorite roo too. He's been staying holed up in the coop with his small harem of girls because one of the other's has made himself dominant and kicks his butt everytime he dares to come out. That mean old roo is out of here today.

There were nine in the bed and the little one said roll over, roll over...didn't those hens know they couldn't all fit? Darn.

The bad thing is that he was not hen pecked. My big BO rooster enjoyed him they would walk around together.

BO roo is a yr old and the banty (spuds) was just getting to 20 weeks.

The girls loved him he would crow and they came a running.

The other two golden females look lost they are only banties now.
