Nesting box photos?

Wish I had a camera to post. I have two bo's and one rir in a milk crate right now. Yes, all in the same milk crate. They refuse to use the fourteen other options in the coop including, 5gal buckets, kitty litter pails, other milk crates, and of course the wooden boxes hung on the wall that required a refresher course in high school geometry. It's like a traffic jam in there nearly every other day.

Ours are made from a recycled TV cabinet.

I have to say that I’m SO impressed with this re-use of an old cabinet Shellie! What a great idea! Why buy new lumber OR disassemble the whole thing when it can be modified perfectly! With the new flat panel TVs becoming more prevalent, these old cabinets will be appearing on the curbside more and more, and I’m going to be watching for them!

I’m new to the site and am having a GREAT time exploring all the topics, ideas, plans and examples! I am gathering supplies now for a coop to have ready for the spring. Want the shell done before the worst weather hits, then can finish the rest at my leisure.

I grew up taking care of the families small flock, so I’m good with the basics... the old coop caved in years ago though and now I get to plan a new one. I’m pretty jazzed about it too!
