Nesting Box Size

Working on coop for first chickens (3 - RI Reds and 3 - Barred Plymouth Rocks). Have nesting boxes made and in wall and hoping they are the appropriate size tor these girls.

They measure: 12.5" wide x 13" deep x 14" high

Will these be OK?

12x12x12 is an adequate but larger is better. That's what I just read in the learning center under 'nesting boxes' .'
