Nesting Box ?

Hi, I have set up my 3 nesting boxes.... Which they are not using yet.... Hopefully this week... Do I need to hang a curtain over the boxes? It gets quite a bit of light... They free range and aren't in coop during the day, so it's quiet but not dark...

If the nests aren't dark then yes, I suggest hanging curtains especially if they free range.

We tried a curtain on one box and they chose the other boxes so we did away with curtains.
The door is open all day on the coop - does not bother them at all.

I'm kinda wondering if it will bother them or they will get use to it.... I put them up tonight and they didn't want to go in... Finally did ... Guess I'll just monitor... Might have to take them down, they are scarey cats... Lol. Or I might do what u did and see if they will use to dark one!! That's a good idea... Thanks...
