Nesting Boxes in the run?????

I added two more chicks to my flock making a total of 8. I need one more nesting box but don't have room in my coop. Any thought on adding a nesting box to the run??? I was thinking of using a covered cat litter box for privacy.

How many nesting boxes do you have? if (2) and want another, (2) is enough for 8 birds, they share...if you add another one, it should be inside... if you put one out in the run, chances are the birds wont use it....lots of folks have experienced that the birds tend to lay only in certain boxes anyway...ie- have 4 to pick from, keep using only 1

I had one for the 6 of them. I just finished my coop and saw these two cute little chicks and couldn't resist. I suppose I will have to do some more construction now :-( I was trying to take the lazy way out.... This is what I get for not being able to resist the babies. City ordinance is max 8 so at least I can't get anymore....
