nesting boxes

I have 2 laying hens and 16 pullets how many nesting boxes do I need.

You should figure one nest box for every four to five hens and then accept the fact that they are all gonna want to use the same box(s) anyhow.

4/5 birds per nest box. They will probably favor certain nests. Mine do.
