nesting boxes

How do I know if my nesting boxes are too high for my chickens. They are 10 weeks old and not intrested in it at all.

Other than perhaps curiousity, they won't be "interested" in the nest boxes for quite a while...maybe by the time they're 18-20 weeks old. It'll help if you add either a golf ball or a wooden egg to each nest box too. I actually sat my girls up there when they were younger just to let them see inside. Elevated nest boxes do need a perch. Does yours have one?
