nesting boxes

No not that I know of I'm teaching my 3wk old babies now to sleep on their roost in their brooder so they don't sleep in the nesting boxes when they are ready for their coop. But should you have a problem with them sleeping in the nesting box then maybe close it off at night until they learn to sleep on their perch otherwise it's fine being open in the the coop. Mine is attacthed to the outside of the coop for my amber link layers but opens up in the inside. I did that for the ease of retrieving eggs. But my second coop i didn't do that way the box is on the inside because I will use that coop for my ornamental hens that don't lay as much.

Do you have coop built or plans?
