One box should satisfy about 4 hens. They all don't need their own.

This is what I did for mine.. 15 buckets 30 Hens. The buckets have two Keyhole slots in the bottom and Hung on Large Headed screws. You can see some of the screws in the top left and second left bucket.

What a great idea for reduce/reuse/recycle! How do the hens get to the top buckets? do they fly up there or is there a ramp some place?

They usually fly up from the roosting ladder opposing it..
