Get a marker or a pen or something and mark all the eggs that the broodies are setting on, then if somebody lays an egg in their box you know which ones they're setting on and which ones aren't.

Take a pencil and mark the eggs they have been sitting on. Take out all unmarked eggs everyday leaving only the ones they have been sitting on. Do you have "dummy" eggs in the other to boxes to entice them to lay there? I have to keep at least one dummy egg in each box or they all lay in the same one.

Thanks I was thinking of that about marking the eggs but the hens well there crazy and try to bite me and iI didn't want them to be spook off the sitting eggs and nesting boxes , I do that in da morning and mark them
thanks ya'll

The other thing is if you have a dog kennel or some other way to seperate them. Make it all nice and comfy with a nest and at NIGHT move the eggs and the hen. Night because they don't fight as much and are more likey to stay broody.
