Nesting in the run? Tree?

Ok. So, I have a completely enclosed run. It is 5.5' tall... and I am reading all these things about fruit trees and nut trees and bushes for in the run... and I am getting a little confused.

I will have 13 total chickens... 5 bantams, 8 standard... (not sure if that matters) and I would like to be aboe to put in a tree or 2, or some bushes or something that they would enjoy int heir run but I have no idea what the best idea would be.

I also don't know what - if anything would be poisonous to my girls.

Any insight and assistance is ridiculously greatly appreciated.

I have pecan trees that cover the run and also pear trees were close and they loved them when then free ranged! The bad thing about those two trees is that the squirrels get to them much earlier than my chickens!
