My coop floor and run is entirely sand, I also have sand in the nesting boxes. I tryed to put pine shavings in it but they just pulled it all out and made a mess so now I only have sand. Will this be an issue? Its not like they can make a cozy "nest" out of the sand. Will they still lay in there you think? Do I need to put up with them pulling out all the pine everyday?
