Nesting Rooster?

What is with a rooster squeezing in to a nest box with a setting hen. I have a coulpe of silkies setting the same nest and I see the roostr squeezing in now and then.

Oh, I got to see my rooster prepare a nesting spot for the hens once. It was so cool and cute at the same time. Wished I'd had my camera at the time.
