Nesting Turkey

My mother turkey has been on her nest 2 weeks past due date. There are 5 eggs in the nest. At what point do we try and remove her. She is in a very large protected pen (about a 1000 feet). There is only the male in with her.

At this point I would suspect eggs are rotten. You could try candling them. Has it been 28 days since she started setting full time? Or was she still adding eggs?

If the eggs are infertile or rotten, now is the time to shoo her off the nest, destroy the eggs and block access to that nest.
